The legendary Italian tenor gave an unforgettable concert in Chichén Itzá on April 20, 1997, as part of the "Voices of Chichén Itzá" event. In front of more than 17,000 attendees, Pavarotti performed iconic pieces such as Non-Piangere Liu and O Sole Mio, in a show that fused the majesty of opera with the energy of the Mayan civilization before returning to our beautiful hotel to enjoy the tranquility of the jungle.
Plácido Domingo: The Voice that Resounded in the Mayan Jungle in 2008
The legendary Spanish tenor offered an unforgettable show in Chichen Itza during the "Concert of the Thousand Columns" event in 2008, captivating thousands of spectators with his powerful voice in a unique setting. He sang the Mexican song "Adoro," accompanied by Armando Manzanero, considered the most important representative of the Yucatecan Trova. After his performance, his connection with Mexican culture and history led him to choose Ikal Chichén Itzá as a haven of tranquility. The suite with his name was decorated according to his wishes, with beautiful spaces and a stunning four-poster bed.
Sarah Brightman: A Concert Under the Stars in 2009
The British soprano closed her tour in Latin America with the majestic show "The Pyramid Concert" on October 31, 2009, in which her voice merged with the magic of Kukulkan. During her stay, Sarah Brightman enjoyed the exclusivity and serenity of Ikal Chichén Itzá, a perfect place to disconnect and recharge energies.
Armando Manzanero: A National Legacy in 2018
To celebrate his seventy-year career, Armando Manzanero gave a concert on a stage 30 meters from the Pyramid. He shared the stage with his great friends, such as Aranza, his son Juan Pablo Manzanero, Alex Lora, and Tania Libertad.
